Despite being a lifelong sewer it still always blows my mind when a simple little bit of work with needle and thread reinvigorates or saves something that would've gone to the bins otherwise.

In case you haven't guessed I'm going through your archives though I promise to try and restrain my urge to comment on every single blog post. The Ferrethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05846577970158185717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3915788373379435645.post-77837687199425104272013-09-12T18:10:32.002-07:002013-09-12T18:10:32.002-07:00Very fascinating.

I followed the link from the gorgeous Ridley pattern you did for Knitty's Deep Fall 2013 edition.

do u mind if I inquire as to how you chose the sizes you did for the Prim version of the sock? Specifically why you chose to go with narrower sizes? Was it because the pattern looked better with a narrower design or a different reason?

I also really enjoy hearing about your works inside the fashion industry and designing for multiple markets. It's always interesting to hear more about it.

Do you know if the reason the designer line tends to be for a smaller ft genuinely because it sells better than having it in a larger size or simply because of a material cost issue? The Ferrethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05846577970158185717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3915788373379435645.post-4108119221712244332012-09-21T10:35:52.950-07:002012-09-21T10:35:52.950-07:00I wish I was better at knitting socks - because I ...I wish I was better at knitting socks - because I would have to knit these just because of the literary link (the fact they look amazing is not important!) Our birth stories are so similar and I have struggled so much to come to terms with my grief about not having the home birth I wanted. I am working in a coffee shop this morning and sat hear reading your story with tears on my face. Thank you for having the courage to share your story. I know first hand how complex the emotions can be around this kind of story. Thank you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3915788373379435645.post-36474213299398294182010-03-03T12:26:43.385-08:002010-03-03T12:26:43.385-08:00Hi Monica,

It's been crazy trying to figure out everything I need/want to do for this kid--especially for projects to knit, crochet, sew. There just isn't enough hours in the day.

I actually ran two marathons this last summer. I was still running pretty regular until about a week ago when I was told to "slow down" :( I miss the running.Yavannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11746964702685734664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3915788373379435645.post-21840628533850488412010-02-21T11:13:20.533-08:002010-02-21T11:13:20.533-08:00Congratulations!
